Famous journalist Barkha Dutt has been awarded lifetime achievement award for her iconic coverage of 26/11 terror attack by an organisation named as Radia National Defence Institute – RNDI, an informer claimed.
The iconic journalist had covered the 2/11 attacks and efforts by Indian armed forces to kill terrorists in such precise details that even the terrorists in the Taj Mahal hotel are said to have watched her coverage from inside the hotel to gain more information. Such dedication to work, which draws admiration even by enemies of the country, is unique in the annuls of Indian journalism.
The informer, who has some history of being unreliable, also mentioned that the award would be presented by a big name in Indian industry, who The Original Hindu is not naming here for fear of persecution.
The Radia National Defence Institute or RNDI is allegedly based in Mumbai and has officers all over India. The awards, apart from in journalism are also presented in the categories of Liasioning, RTI activism and Human Rights
