Famous film director Mahesh Bhatt has pulled out of an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai. After the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the debate in Bollywood and nepotism was also centered on Mahesh Bhatt and involvement of his hand or “other organs” in the whole case. Pictures of him “doing a Nehru” to Rhea were also circulated widely.
The director with an itch to do semi-pornographic movies like Murder, Raaz, Jism etc. has a new movie Sadak 2 in the offing. Th trailer of Sadak 2 has already made a world record by being the most disliked video on YouTube with 95% people disliking the video.
Bhatt had scheduled an interview to put his side of the story in public. However, when someone told him Rajdeep’s record, he decided to drop the interview with the acclaimed boxer-turned-propagandist. Rajdeep had interviewed P. Chidambaram and Rhea Chakarborty when there were allegations against them. Both of them were later arrested. His interviews have been credited with hanging of Yakub Memon and Afzhal Guru and also arrest of Tahir Hussain.
A tantrik has told us that if Rajdeep interviews for positive PR of a person, there is immediately a negative impact on the person. Indeed, the Raj Comics hero “Bankelal” was apparently based on character of Rajdeep Sardesai. However, his negative PR interviews also have a reverse effect. He had famously interviewed Modi and Ambani, but the “panauti” reversed as he asked them hostile questions rather than sympathetic. As a result, since then, both have touched new heights in their chosen professions.
