Tejaswi to be made “Honorary Captain” of Delhi Capitals if he becomes CM

If Exit Polls are to be believed, Tejaswi Yadav, the talented son of former Bihar CM, Railway Minister and entertainer, Lalu Prasad Yadav, is going to become the CM of Bihar. We had reported earlier that Poonam Pandey, famous model, and porn star had promised to run naked if RJD wins the elections. Now, it seems that IPL team, Delhi Capital has also made a major decision in case Yadav wins Bihar polls.

A few days back, the RJD had tweeted a news story to prove that Virat Kohli’s luck changed after he played under the captaincy of Tejaswi Yadav in a U-15 match.

Yadav, whose senior cricket career was limited to playing for Jharkhand, is an all rounder and has scored 37 runs in 7 matches { 4 innings}. This includes a single match in Ranji Trophy, in which he scored 20 runs in two innings. However, he was selected for IPL team Delhi Daredevils, now called Delhi capitals, for a few years when his father was Railway Minister. Of course, his father’s position had nothing to do with the place in team and the salary of Rs. 40 lakhs per year he got for not playing a single match.

Lalu Yadav had bitterly complained that his son was made to carry water and not played in any match during the IPL. Now, the IPL team seems to have taken a major decision to once again assciate with Tejaswi Yadav in case he becomes CM of Bihar.

The waiters at the post match parties have heard rumors that Tejaswi Yadav will be made “Honorary Captain” of Delhi Capitals after he takes oath of CM. The idea behind this action is to transfer the loyalty of Bihari cricket lovers to Delhi Capitals. Anecdotal evidence tells that almost half the population of Delhi is of Bihari descent.

As honorary captain, Tejaswi will get the right to be with the team during the match. Thus, winning Bihar elections would bring dual joy to Tejaswi. However, unreliable sources tell us that he seems to be more interested in post-match parties of IPL. As Delhi has never won an IPL, let us hope that Tejaswi brings the same luck to Delhi, as he brought to Virat Kohli.
